🔥 Hell Locations

A guide to the rings, districts, overlord territories, and landmarks of the Hellaverse — the canon world of Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss.

The Seven Rings

⚠️ Inter-ring travel advisory: Sinners — the damned human souls — are physically bound to the Pride Ring and cannot reach the other six. Only Hellborn demons (imps, hellhounds, the Ars Goetia and the like) move between rings freely, and high-ranking Goetia such as Stolas can tear open portals between them, usually with the aid of a grimoire.

Hell is stacked in seven rings, from the Pride Ring at the top down to Sloth at the bottom: Pride → Wrath → Gluttony → Greed → Lust → Envy → Sloth. Each is ruled by one of the seven Deadly Sins.

Ruled by · Lucifer Morningstar
The Pride Ring
Sin of Pride · Topmost Ring
The topmost ring and the only one Sinners can inhabit. Every damned human soul that ends up in Hell manifests here and physically cannot leave for the other rings. Home to Pentagram City — Hell's sprawling capital — and the sole target of the annual Exterminations.
Pentagram City Sinners' Ring Exterminations
Ruled by · Satan
The Wrath Ring
Sin of Wrath · 2nd Ring
Directly below Pride lies a vast, largely rural wilderness beneath a burnt orange-red sky, roamed by the savage beasts of Hell. It's the native homeland of Hell's imps — including the crew of I.M.P. — who were created by Satan himself.
Imp Homeland Wilderness Savage Beasts
Ruled by · Beelzebub (Queen Bee)
The Gluttony Ring
Sin of Gluttony · 3rd Ring
Queen Bee's domain of endless indulgence. Beelzebub throws Hell's most infamous, excessive parties — encouraging her guests to overindulge in every way imaginable — and rules over the Hellhounds. Everything here is about consuming more.
Queen Bee Hellhounds Endless Parties
Ruled by · Mammon
The Greed Ring
Sin of Greed · 4th Ring
Mammon's commercial empire, where nothing is free and everything has a price. Home to Loo Loo Land — the gaudy amusement park Mammon owns — and a relentless, profit-driven engine where the most dangerous thing you can do is end up owing him.

Ruled by · Asmodeus (Ozzie)
The Lust Ring
Sin of Lust · 5th Ring
Asmodeus's ring, rendered in blue on Hell's map. He runs Ozzie's — a famous, sexually-charged dinner theater and nightclub — here. Much of Hell's Ars Goetia aristocracy makes its home between the Lust and Pride Rings.

Ruled by · Leviathan
The Envy Ring
Sin of Envy · 6th Ring
Leviathan's submerged, water-themed ring. The Sin of Envy is said to rule over Hell's aquatic "fish people" demons, presiding over a drowned world of pressure, longing, and quiet covetousness far beneath the upper rings.
Aquatic Fish Demons Submerged
Ruled by · Belphegor
The Sloth Ring
Sin of Sloth · Lowest Ring
The lowest and slowest ring of all. Belphegor, Sin of Sloth, has yet to be seen on-screen and is said to rule over the Baphomets. Everything here moves at a crawl — still, hazy, and in no particular hurry to change.

Pentagram City — Notable Locations

🏨
The Hazbin Hotel
Pride Ring · Pentagram City
Charlie Morningstar's rehabilitation initiative, housed in a crumbling but ornate hotel. Officially dedicated to reforming sinners — unofficially, a beacon of chaotic optimism in a city that has none. Occupancy varies wildly.

📡
V Tower
Pride Ring · Vees' Territory
The gleaming headquarters of the Vees — Vox, Valentino, and Velvette — and the seat of their media empire. Part broadcast studio, part fashion fortress, part surveillance hub. The screens never go dark and the cameras never stop rolling.
Restricted Access
🎭
Cannibal Town
Pride Ring · Eastern Pentagram
A tight-knit community of Hell's cannibal population, led by Rosie. Charming in an absolutely horrifying way — the residents are friendly, the décor is thematic, and you really shouldn't ask what's in the stew.

🌆
Pentagram City
Pride Ring · Hell's Capital
The blood-soaked heart of the Pride Ring, laid out in the shape of a giant pentagram with districts radiating from a central hub. Casinos, nightclubs, film studios, brothels, TV stations and hotels crowd its streets. Crime is constant. The food is surprisingly decent.

The Extermination Clock Tower

Overlord Territories

Overlords are powerful Sinners who rule swaths of Pentagram City, many of them having earned their status by collecting the souls of other damned souls. A few of the most prominent:

Overlord · The Radio Demon
Alastor
One of the most powerful and feared Overlords in Hell, who rose to power broadcasting his massacres over the radio. Holds the soul contracts of numerous demons and now backs the Hazbin Hotel for his own mysterious reasons.
Overlords · The Vees
Vox, Valentino & Velvette
An alliance of three media-focused Overlords who control much of Hell's television, adult-film, and fashion industries from V Tower. Vox handles broadcast and tech, Valentino the studios, and Velvette the fashion scene.
Overlord · Cannibal Town
Rosie
A well-respected and powerful Overlord who presides over Cannibal Town and holds considerable sway among the Sinner elite. Gracious, sharp, and a longtime acquaintance of Alastor.
Overlord · Carmine Industries
Carmilla Carmine
Founder of Carmine Industries and the only known arms dealer to manufacture weapons from angelic steel — capable of killing Exorcists. A protective mother who keeps her dealings discreet and her family safe.
